Drive Your Designs Further - Go Beyond CAD:
Over the last couple years, SOLIDWORKS has added some great new tools to the line-up and the best part is: They are included with your SW Professional licenses! In the first part of the presentation, we’ll be covering SW CAM, an add-in that lets you create toolpath and post code to CNC equipment. We’ll be taking a brake rotor from art to part with milling and lathe machining techniques. Next, we’ll cover Visualize, an add-in that lets you create amazing renderings from your CAD models. Keeping with the Dream Cruise theme, we’ll be rendering a 1969 Camaro to various paint jobs and dropping it into an environment that makes it look likes its coming off the screen!
Presented by our resident Millennium Falcon rendering expert: Ryan Cole
What You Didn't Know You Could Do with SOLIDWORKS PDM:
SOLIDWORKS PDM is a powerful data management tool, but companies often question if they are getting the most out of its capabilities. DASI Solutions is here to help. We’ll be covering design re-use using Copy Tree, PDM folder templates for maintaining a consistent structure, and PDM file templates for repeatable documentation. We’ll also be discussing some workflow tricks including setting variables on your files during transitions, and linking multiple workflows together. Lastly, we’ll discuss Dispatch, a built-in custom programming utility that can help expand your PDM Pro capabilities even further.
Presented by our Service Team Manager and current reigning Model Mania champ: John MacArthur
At 4:00 PM Join us for dinner at our Dream Cruise Party - Games, classic cars and BBQ!
